Columns and filter specifications missing after upgrade to 4.1 |
Status: Reviewed |
Version(s): 4.1 |
From Primavera OCP
Fact: | Upper ASCII characters used in Activity Code values as columns and filter specifications for layouts no longer work after upgrading to V4.1. |
Problem: | Layout columns and filter specifications are missing after upgrading to version 4.1. Before upgrade to version 4.1. In version 4.1 after upgrade, same layout, same filter applied. |
Fix: | Run the attached utility, CodeEncoder.exe against the 4.1 database to restore missing columns and filters. Read the detailed instructions in the ReadMe.txt before executing the utility. Choose your 4.1 database alias in the Database Connection pull-down list. The login information needed is from the database administration, not from Primavera. Standalone Primavera users using Interbase can use the default username and password. See attached readme.txt for details. |
