| Fix: | This known problem in Cost Manager 5.x has been corrected in version 6.1 by using a client driver of 10.2.0.3 or later. |
| Fix: | Cost Management 5.x does support Oracle 10g along with Oracle 8.1.7.4, and 9.x for the Cost Management (CM) database. If the Project Management (PM) database is 10g, a 10g client driver can not be used to connect CM to PM. Workaround: With Cost Manager 5.x, when connecting to Project Management it is necessary to use an Oracle 9i driver. Note: There is a Known Issue per the Readme for Cost Management 5.0 Service Pack 3 and later: A bug in the latest Oracle Providers for OLE DB (10.1.0.4 or later) prevents successful imports from an Oracle 10g Project Management database.Use of a supported 9i driver is required when interfacing with a 10g PM database.
The OLE DB driver can be installed from the 9i client cd or downloaded from http://www.oracle.com Also Note: The Client Driver can be 10.2.0.3 or later. |
