prim35733:How to configure myPrimavera 5.0 to work with the Project Architect job service.

This feature is controlled by Primavera Job Services.  Before beginning this setup, you should already have Job Services installed  and running.

  Launch the myPrimavera Administration Application (Start, Programs, myPrimavera, Administration Application).

  The myPrimavera Administrator application can also be run by browsing to the URL:  http://server:port/myprimavera/admin.jsp

  Note: The myPrimavera server must be running to use the browser URL.



• 
  In the Tree View, navigate to the following location: myPrimavera  Configuration, Database, Instance, MethodologyManagement




• 
  See figure below


• 
  Modify the URL to point to the desired Methodology Management database.


• 
  Modify the DBAlias so that it exactly matches the MMDB Alias created on the Job Service server.


• 
  Restart Job Services and myPrimavera.

Note:  If you are specifying a DBAlias that does not exist on the Job Service machine, you will have to create the new DB Alias on the Job Service machine.
