| Problem: | Is it possible to display ‘resource by role’ or ‘role by resource’, when viewing ’summary data’ in Portfolio Analyst/Portfolio Analysis? For example: The following screen shot shows activities grouped by ‘Resource’ then by ‘Role’: The same layout, using summary data, from within Portfolio Analyst/Portfolio Analysis is unable to display both the ‘Resource’ and ‘Role’ information simultaneously: |
| Cause: | This discrepancy is caused by the way the summary data tables store the data. The key item that links the resource data to the role data is the ‘activity’ that they are assigned to. However, the Summary data does not store the detail down to the activity level so there is no way to link the resource and role information together when using summary data. |
| Fix: | This issue is an existing Enhancement Request. It will be considered for a future release |
