| Problem: | General Protection Fault error in PCC.exe when changing value in summary band |
| Fix: | 1- Close P3. Hit CTRL + ALT + DELETE and go to Task Manager, then to Processes tab and end processes w32mkde.exe and ntvdm.exe 2- Run PFXW (Project File Recovery Program) on this project. How to run PFXW? PFXW is a fix utility. 3- Create a new layout for the project. View, Layout, New then setup this new layout identical to your original layout. 4- If you are still receiving this error go to your folder where this project is located through Windows Explorer and rename the XXXXLAY.P3 (where XXXX is project name) file to XXXXLAY.old, then reopen P3. This will recreate a new layout file. Your previous layouts will not appear anymore. |
