prim17783:How to remove all resource assignments from all activities in a project

Delete resource assignments from the Activities view:

1. From the Activities screen, select an activity, go to the Resources tab and click Add Resource to bring up the Assign Resources window.

2. Select Display, Filter By, Current Project’s Resources

3. Select all activities in the Activities view by using either Shift+Click or Ctrl+A.

4. In the Assign Resources window, select all resources using Shift+Click.

NOTE: This action cannot be undone.

Click the Remove button.

This will remove all of the selected resource assignments from all of the selected activities.

You may be presented with confirmation messages when deleting the resource assignments if the assignments have actual labor units, timesheet actuals or financial period actuals.

Delete resource assignments from the Resource Assignments view:

1. From the Resource Assignments screen, select Layout, Group and Sort By, Customize.
2. Delete all entries in the Group By column and click OK.

3. Select all resource assignments in the view by using either Shift+Click or Ctrl+A.

NOTE: This action cannot be undone.

4. Click the Delete button.
